meet the artists

We’re Sara and Jennie - co-founders, local artists and besties! You may have spotted us vending at craft fairs, Pride festivals, anime conventions and more - around New England and beyond - over the past 10 years.

Sara works in a variety of styles to create fun and whimsical illustrations that reflect their love of telling stories, cute creatures, and nature. Whether it be tasty treats or magical ducks, Sara aspires to create illustrations that people can relate to, be inspired by, and fall in love with!

Jennie (DBA Cambrasine) is an illustrator, printmaker, and product designer from Massachusetts. She primarily works digitally but enjoys experimenting with various styles and mediums. Her personal designs often feature nature, animals, and her own original characters. In her free time you can find Jennie on nature walks with her dog Cadence, spending time with friends and family, and, of course, drawing.

We feature a rotating and expanding selection of local artists to keep things fresh! Our Current Guests:
Avery Whitlock Catfish Cult
Chu Charms Denpa Archive Dollphinwing
Fake Cakery Maiden and the Machine

info & faq

How do I get there?
Parking: There is metered street parking as well as some local parking garages. On Sunday, street parking is free!
For a limited time, there is a validated parking garage promo - info here.
Public Transit: Make your way to the Red Line and hop out at Harvard! Several buses also stop here. Please check the MBTA website for more information.

Accessibility
Ramp: The ramp is a bit steep, so it may or may not be traversable depending on your level of mobility/devices. Some may be able to use it alone, some may require assistance, and others may not be able to ascend it.
Elevators: The elevator on the right, which is down a few stairs, can take you to the 2nd floor. It will look like you’re in the wrong place (like you got transported to the backrooms), but follow the hallway down to the right around the corner and exit into the mall. For those who cannot go down the few stairs to that elevator, please use the left elevator to go to the 3rd floor, transfer to the right elevator, and make your way down to the 2nd floor. However, this left elevator does not appear to be working at time of writing. We will update this as soon as that changes.Unfortunately The Garage is an older building that does not meet today’s expectations for accessibility. While this is outside of our control, inclusivity is deeply important to us and we are more than happy to accommodate you in any way we can.For example, we are happy to set up a time within store hours to meet you on the first floor, or possibly curbside. We can send an in-depth video tour of the store that day and bring products you are interested in looking at to you for your perusal! To arrange this, please contact us via Instagram, e-mail, text, or call.If you have any other ideas for ways we can help, please let us know.

Wasn't The Garage demolished?
Lucky for us, it is instead being revitalized with small local businesses like ours!
